is Leon's story exactly the same as Claire's story?
so i just finished Leon's story and now I'm starting Claire's story however I dunno why but i thought they would be different stories altogether but it's exactly the same so far the only difference is you're just playing a girl instead of a guy. Am i missing something?

It would have been awesome if you could actually play Claire in the sense that she was kept out of the police station and had to survive on the streets in a differing scenario instead of playing the whole racoon city police department levels again. still enjoying the second playthough nonetheless but i was just hoping for a new story which coincided with Leon's in the same timeline but had different locales and characters....

But when you finish the game as either character, a second scenario open... Originally, there were bigger differences between scenarios layout wise. Now they're a bit more samey, with very slight changes.

But their STORIES are never the same, Leon deals with Ada, Claire deals with Sherry, they go to different locations at a few key points.. But yes, both campaigns are largely similar gameplay wise, different weapons, and a few different areas.

Similar but there are differences
Yeah that's what I thought, like going through the story from her perspective in Leon's story. That seemed really logical too but somehow it's not the case...
So is scenario A and B also pretty much the same thing then?

Different cutscenes, different paths to the sewers, you'll play as one of 2 different side characters in a section depending on who your main character is and access to different parts of the police station. The differences aren't massive but they're there.

leon A / claire A are basically the same for the first half, i guess the B scenario is different because you start at the point where the helicopter is crashing ... but i just took a quick glance at it
