Of course it is fun, why not?

It creates tension. Not too much, because it is quite easy to avoid once you know what triggers him.

Its still fun Mr. X. is just obnoxious and in certain times can create tension but because of the auto save feature you can easily reload and know when hes going to jump you and clear the forward areas so you can run away freely. There is a small a mount of time in the police station where Mr. X ever really becomes an issue but you can minimize this once you learn the trigger. There is a trainer in the game to one shot him and drop him to his knees where he won't get back up but of course this doesn't work during his boss fights.
Tyrant is fun, it's not like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games like Outlast, Slender or even Alien Isolation, in those games you get your personal Tyrant, but he insta-kills you everytime he sees you, not to mention that in games like Outlast, there is no way to defend yourself, besides hiding, wich makes the experience way more boring and tedious.

Mr. X is fun, at first might be frustrating, but once you get to 'know him', his precense becomes interesting.
All three areas in the game are designed so that you can run multiple ways and still get to the same destination, much like the original. It's pretty easy to outmaneuver Mr. X if you unlock shortcuts and board up windows.

It doesnt. BUT.
Tyrant outstays its wellcome and becomes boring. Also it ruins A scenario Leon ending.
But you can ignore that on second go.

If youre worried about him, or scared of him, id suggest luring him out to an open area, and test the waters. Watch his haymaker animation, his walk speed increase, etc and try to evade. He’ll feel less “intimidating” if thats the vibe he’s giving you. He’s pretty derp some times if youre quiet. Jukes are easy.

Yes. You'll complain about him like that DSP sounding guy in this board.

He was really fun the first time through. Once you know how to lose him, and what rooms he can't go in he isn't as interesting anymore. More of a nuisance though he can still be scary when you get in situations where he is chasing you but you didn't clear out the enemies in your way. I was disappointed that after that segment of the game you never really get stalked by him again just briefly chased in a few scripted sequences.

He's not in it for very long, once how you learn how to skirt around him hes only a minor annoyance

Yeah but the scenario is flawed.....he passes through walls with ease but....a simple door blocks him out... X)

My feelings on Tyrant have flip-flopped a bit as I've played more.
On my first playthrough it was a great way to add tension to the game, making me tip-toe around listening to the footsteps in the distance and panicking whenever he found me.
On my second playthrough he became more of just a nuisance since I was used to him and knew how to get around him.
A few playthroughs later and now I actually think he's a fairly interesting obstacle to spice up "speedruns" (in quotes because my "speedruns" are like an hour longer than actual speedrun time).

If he's giving you trouble, keep in mind that one flashbang puts him down for the count for like 30 seconds.

First form. Mr.X is just annoying. He should not hit you though unless you really screw up. His movement and attacks are slow. ( That also said, you can skip the first time he shows up by abusing a glitch lol.. But he will always show up no matter what at one spot due to you can not glitch that scripted event far as I am aware of. )

Everyone says this but i think people are going to PREFER nemesis. With nemesis you have Fight or Flight and regardless of the choice you made there was a time after each decision where Nemesis disappears even with flight. Yea sometimes he'd chase you a screen or two but then he would disappear.

Nemesis also dropped items when defeated and in RE3 there was far less back tracking.

nemesis could also run and has a rocket launcher.
the people having a hard time with mr X are gonna love nemesis even more then.
