.....developers deserve to be supported for this remarkable game. If you dont have money ask mommy or daddy, sister or borother for a loan. Go cut your neighbours lawn or clean a swimming pool if you are ab American. If you live in Europe just distribute some leaflets but buy this game. Thx.

This. That's the most reasonable thing said here, I think.

You can pirate it if you want. Your goal is to play the game and it has been reached. Bravo. However, if you are poor, maybe the right thing to do is to solve this problem first before thinking about putting your a** in front of a computer and play, just saying ?

Also, buying the game doesn't make you more self-righteous than the guy who pirate it. You both reached your goal. But there is one who reached his goal the easiest way, while there is one who reached his goal while struggling.

Also, pirating is not that fun:

• Waiting for the crack ( Is constantly going to crackwatch dot com interesting, apart for the memes ??? ).
  
• Looking for the link to find a source.
  
• Downloading from a potential insecure source anyway, risking your computer secureness.
  
• Setting aside the HDD capacity ( because you'll need twice the capacity of the size of the game for extraction; Nice for 50 GB games, I already find it annoying for 20 GB ones ).
  
• Having to wait longer to download, because the game will be divided into multiple parts.

All that to:

• Not being sure the download went well and some parts weren't corrupted.
  
• Not having access to achievements and online interactions/bonuses ( and they can be interesting, RE:REV is a good example ).
  
• Not being able to play the DLCs day one because they have to be cracked too.
  
• Not being sure your computer has been compromised.
  
• Not being sure the devs didn't think about anti-piracy measures.

I personally don't find any pleasure in this anymore. Pirates are just replacing money with incertainity, some work and lack of some features. That's all they do. Waiting for a sale while reaching wealth, if you are "poor", is the best thing to do. Not for rewarding developers/companies, just for the sake of your own priceless tranquility.

This game is a masterpiece and deserves our hard worked money. Thank you capcom, I bought this game for all platforms, hopefully it helps you to make new great games in future :-)

The fact you pirate a game doesn't mean you would buy it instead. Quite the opposite actually. So no stealing nonsense... If downloading would mean someone gets the game removed from steam OR you would be FORCED to buy it, that would be stealing.

Would you download a car? Yes. Star Trek Utopia where there is no currency anymore.

Still a crime and abuse in this case, but a different category.
The return of investment is still ridiculous.
I pirated games when I was a kid. I had no income. When I started making money I started to pay. Over a 1000 games on steam alone by now.
There are still occasional trash games that I download, like assassin's Creed Odyssey, but they are that bad that I rarely play those more than half an hour total.
I bought Final Fantasy 15, because I thought it's same kind of trash, but ended up liking the pirate version enough to want to buy it.
And I tend to never pirate indie games, as those need more support and are not as stale as the AAA market.

Studies show, that pirates support the industry more on average than non pirates btw.

There are many reasons for such a thing. Where you live. How much you earn. Wether you have a job. Or feel the price is too high. Which it is on steam. I bought it cheaper though.
