Spark shot is useless on hardcore!

so I just finished a run on hardcore and the smark shot is worthless in this mode, it is only semi good when fighting the G adults, otherwise on birkin form 2 it takes 3 fully charged shots to knock him down, form 3 he doesn't even care and I didn't brother using it on his form 4! also when using it on birkin he does not get stunned in place, he just keeps walking at you so you will never get the full damage unless you use it on him when he is already down, otherwise walking back when birkin is walking at you (on hardcore he walks faster) he just deals you a hit, witch on hardmode will drop you right down to danger! (unless you ate a blue+ red/B/G/R herb)

I just finished my hardcore run and I honestly only shot it once.

I found it underwhelming in general even on standard difficulty. Doing Claire A HC now, probably will not use it on bosses.

its not even worth picking up imo even on normal. scarce ammo and mediocre damage output. unless you're going for some "100% pickups run" or something similiar, i would just skip it altogether.

It's pretty great for taking down Ivies. Also for G mutants. Just not Birkin.

It does more damage faster than using the Minigun on Birkin 4, but otherwise is relatively niche in usefulness, just because Claire gets so many specialized weapons compared to Leon.

there's literally zero reason to ever fully kill ivys in this game. just shoot them once in a bulb and run past them.

it is pretty good vs the G adults, but fire rounds are WAY better vs ivy, on normal mode 2 shots and they are dead for good, on hardcore 3 shots and they are no more

Speaking of the spark shot.. does anybody else's frames drop to the 40s after firing and when holding the charge? And literally the ONLY time the game doesn't run fluent 60fps is when using this weapon!

nah. the game won't even have an increase in hardware usage and the game will dip wildly when i use the spark shot charge. it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ atm

I saw it used on G4. Two full mags more on birkin then just a little bit of minigun when he opens up. Not much application for it unless you wanna use it to kill the two lickers, but that is about it. Still having something that handles one birkin fight without having to worry about any of your other ammo pools is good enough for me.
