Add option to remove DLC & unlocked guns
It would be nice if I didnt have all the DLC pistols in my item chest, it kinda ruins the immersion of the game (plus they are useless). I also have the unlockable guns and it would be nice to have an option to hide them as well. Seeing a rocket launcher in the item chest when you alternatively have 4 handgun bullets left is pretty distracting, especially to others viewing you play the game

A simple option at the start of a new game of whether or not you want them would be ideal. I cant be the only one who finds them annoying

Or just don't use them.

The DLC ones you can probably uncheck the DLC in your steam list. However I bet you'd probably have to start the game fresh since it's detection is probably saved in a file somewhere along with the other infinite weapons that are unlocked.

Thats the point. If im not using them then I should have a simple option to leave them out of a new game entirely. Very immersion breaking, and such a simple thing to implement

I can't tell if this post is serious or not. Why didn't you uncheck them if you don't want to use them?
What a wasted time and effort to make a user error complaint.

You can remove them, when you look at the game in your steam library you uncheck the gun dlc boxes and they will no longer be active.

Still doesnt answer how I remove the rocket launcher and minigun, etc, from my item chest. You have to be older than 6 to post on the forums

Simple, you reset your game progress (theres at least one other thread about it, but the upshot is after turning off Steam Cloud, the saves are in your <Steam Installation Folder>\SteamApps\Userdata\<Your User ID>\883710 folder. Back the contents up, delete them, bingo fresh start. Tamper with them at your own risk though (standard warning).

Added bonus is you get extended use out of the game if you decide to unlock them again.

They are not useless. Not only they look good, but provide a small advantage during the first portion of the game. After that the vanilla guns are equal/better, with the slight disadvantage that they use more inventory space.

Right to the point where you encounter the Tyrant, the DLC guns make no difference.

You could probably uncheck the DLC from your Steam DLC menu and the game would uninstall it or something, if it bothers you that much.
