(No Spoilers Please) Can you find the heart key in the first playthrough as Leon?

Just finished Leon A. Fantastic game. Curious though if I missed the heart key or if it is just something you get on a new game plus or something. Looked everywhere couldn't find it. Please no spoilers. Just a simple yes or no to whether you can find it or not in the first run.

Heart key is exclusive to Claire.

Only Claire can get the Heart key. Only Leon can get the Club key.

As others have said, there are certain rooms and areas that are exclusive to each character. The heart key is one of these.

If you play Claire A, you'll see that she has to take certain different routes due to lack of access to some of the shortcuts that Leon has and vice-versa.
