What's The Difference Between The G-Virus And The T-Virus?
This is my first Resident Evil game that I have ever played so I went in blindly knowing nothing about the lore. I eventually came across a document in the lab about a T-Virus resistance test to G-Virus which made me wonder what even is the difference between the two? I know that the G-Virus is what mutates people into what Williams became but what does T-Virus do?

The goal with the T-Virus was more or less a Super Soldier Serum. (Tyrants)
It's also what created Zombies, but they're more of a "waste product"

As you get deeper in to Umbrella there was also a Eugenics and "Next stage of Humanity" angle.

T:
-Weaponized variant of a natural virus discovered decades ago in Africa (Progenitor).
-Made for BOW (Bio-organic weapons) research and development.
-Ultimate goal was to create super soldiers Umbrella could sell to governments and armies.
-Incidental leaks cause people to become infected and turn into brainless "zombies".
-The first researcher who developed a T strain had conflicting interests with Umbrella and was assassinated for that.

G:
-William Birkin's project, that he took way too personal and got killed for that.
-Ultimate goal was induced mankind evolution.
-Mutations are stronger and have better regen capabilities than regular T-Virus mutations.
-It doesn't spread the same way the T-Virus does.
-G creatures have breeding capabilities.

birkin was a bit of the alabama kind so he wanted a virus that mutates better with DNA closer to it's host
