Game crashes when streaming on Twitch
Hi people, I have been trying to stream on Twitch for my personal friends who are interested in the game. However, the game always crashes 10-20 minutes in when I use it in conjunction with Twitch. So in the end, my friends resorted to watching me on Steam Broadcast which isn't very ideal as the quality is somewhat lacking.

I have been able to stream other games on Twitch with no issue. RE2 also runs fine when I'm not on Twitch. Have anyone encountered similar issue? Does anyone know the problem or the fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it's pretty serious ~ the kind of Request for Tech Support that Steam Community Members maybe eager to help you with but that few if any actually have experience resolving. That being the case, the way I see it you might be smarter posting this Request directly to the Capcom RE2/BRE:2 Developers' website. So long as you give them ALL your important software / hardware / networking specifications including the ones they don't explicitly request) on their form I've linked for your convenience, you should hear back from them with their proposed fix(es) within approx 7 days' time. Good luck (y) >> https://capcomusasupport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/17/create/49 <<

I was only using the default Twitch Studio software. I am by no means a professional streamer and has no idea what OBS is. I only streamed to a group of personal friends who were interested in knowing what RE is all about.

I use obs to stream this and ps4 version..never had any problems. Try using OBS. OBS stands for Open Broadcast Software.

its probably the twitch studio beta , goto for stream labs obs if you dont know how to set it up
or use normal obs if you do

https://streamlabs.com/streamlabs-obs

i can imagine the twitch program will be utter rubbish and will be whats causing the crashes

Thanks guys. I got OBS Streamlabs and it worked fine. Funnily, I tried both Twitch Studios and Xsplit and both had similar issues but Streamlabs worked properly.
