Dealing with Arachnophobia

Hey guys!
I love the Resident Evil series but I have a bit of a problem with the Remake because I know big spiders are in the game and I was wondering if I should buy it?
It's different for me in games than in real life but I still feel very uncomfortable when I see them.
Remake one and the Bloodborne section in the nightmare made me almost quit those games but I still made it. I've played the Demo and the graphics are astounding but I have a bit of fear that I can't complete it because I don't know how realistic the spiders in the game are.

If someone maybe knows how they look in this game would you recommend me to pre-order the game or just wait and watch a video? Would love to get the pre-order bonuses but I don't want to buy a game I can't complete.

here's how you deal with arachnophobia in video games. take the biggest gun you can find and go nuts!

but then again i do not know what it's like to have an actual phobia. im afraid of buzzing sounds but i can muster myself to take them out.

Spiders have been removed altogether from the remake, arachnophobes have nothing to fear for a change.

also idk if this helps but i love spiders and they prefer to be alone, they just want to catch bugs and eat them sure they might look nasty(some of them looks cute af like the small jumping spooder with big eyes with eye lashes)

and if you get close they will 99.999999999999% of the time always run away, if the spider stands on it's two legs it is agitated and might pounce if it doesn't do that you can safely put a glass over it and slide a piece of paper underneath it and carry it outside. spiders are very friendly, they are also very curious. they don't want to hurt you unless you squeeze them or irritate them. you can watch "brave wilderness" on youtube coyote petersson handles some extremely dangerous species of spiders and they do absolutely nothing to him. i hope this helped a little bit with your phobia.

I'm going to go and guess crows were removed because they'd simply be annoying as hell gameplay-wise without massive aim assist. And the spiders and moths added very little, they were both just another mid sized monster, but they were no threat to speak of.

I do kinda wish they added something else to make up for their removal though. Mutated rats maybe? Would fit both sewer and lab settings. Maybe mutated lab monkeys also. It'd make sense for there to be a variety of animal test subjects for the virus.

I'll do hypnosis at some point because I think spiders are f----- metal but I just can't look at them.
I once had a huge one on my bed right next to me and I couldn't sleep for days and was shaking for hours. It gets real bad when I see one and I look like a lunatic when I try to deal with them.
I literally screamed when I saw them in REmake 1 and my buddy took over, lol.
But thanks for trying to help. I hope I can deal with them easily one day.

Was this actually confirmed? I've read several reddit threads but it never sounded official or actually real. I mean they've said they won't add the crocodile but then did it anyways.

I know I dont like them but come on Capcom why? If you made lickes in new engine why leave spiders alone? Doesnt make sense

It has been confirmed by people who already got the game and finished it. No spiders, crows, and giant moth, plus weird human-shaped Ivy re-design (probably for mocap reasons).
