Physical boxed copy for PC?

I actually would like to know this too. I bought RE7 physical too. The game comes with a steam code anyways so it's basically like buying it on steam except you get a box and a disc for free.

It has to come with all the extras from the deluxe edition though, i need that soundtrack swap.

It's just the standard edition though, not with the costume dlc and the soundtrack swap

Then I won't get those things. I love the classic soundtrack more than anybody but I'm not sure it'll work in this remake anyway. The classic soundtrack worked because the camera angles were fixed and there were loading screens on each door. Remember the music that plays when you first enter the police station? The lobby music? It's gonna be weird hearing that music in the lobby then hear it still play in one of the adjoining rooms/hallways as it transitions into another tune without a loading screen.

Also the music is low quality by today's standards. It fits perfectly into the cheesy 20-year old RE2 (my second favourite game of all time) but I don't know if it'll fit into a much darker and more serious remake.

TL;DR - I'd like to have it I don't really care if I can't have it, and I definitely don't care about skins and costumes as DLC. Skins (in the form of upgrades) and costumes have always been unlockable in RE games (at least the ones I played, the older ones pre-RE4). If they can't be unlocked as is traditional then I don't want them at all.
