Avoiding Mr.X in B playthrough

I noticed Mr.X never spawns if you just dont go past Stars Office, if you avoid going past there when does he spawn later? Same as Helicopter crash in A scenario?

In Claire B, he spawned super early in the game, disappeared, then reappeared at the helicopter scene.

You still need the battery from the Stars office in A or B, so he showe up either way.

I picked up the battery and ready to plant while also having the SMG and Grenade launcher and he still hasnt appeared after i got out the STARS room, its only after i move past the room.

As far as I know, you need the battery from the STARS office which is his trigger in Scenario B. You can't avoid making him active before triggering the helicopter crash in Scenario B.

You can check the computer on the desk of the main hall in Scenario B and it'll show you he's in the hallway leading to the basement in the East wing, although after watching it if you run straight there he won't actually be anywhere to be found.

Eventually you have to go to the STARS office to get the battery, just get everything else done first to minimize the amount of time he spends chasing you. Makes the maiden medallion room a bit more tense since you get Mr X in addition to the zombie and licker.

He started appearing guess it just took him awhile

I got the battery last. I believe the battery is what triggers him. Something in the stars office does at least. Anyway thanks to doing it last, I had to run from him for maybe 30 seconds total lol.

That's what I thought initially on my first Claire B playthrough so I just ran past the office without going in so I could unlock the door to the unicorn medallion room, but he was right around the corner waiting for me. So he's already there, he just doesn't chase you unless he sees you or you get the battery.
