No Item Box Run

I can absolutely do the hardcore run and no healing run in one run, but how do you do this one? At some point you are gonna have to take a lot of "key items" with you, so you have to drop all your weapons for that? I mean even that's not possible as you can't pick your weapons up again (i really don't know why you can't pick up dropped items).

Also if i accidentally open it, can i reload my save or i have to start again?

For the last part, I think you can yes. As for doing it... I guess you have to be super careful about what you pick up and when. Like the weapon upgrades that increase their size to 2 slots are probably not going to work for this.

check records section for how many times you opened item box, also it is possible on easy easily (no pun intented) it takes planning your rout and taking health and ammo item before Boss figts and tough sections (like G-adult chess piece section) It will take about 5-7 hours because of contstant back tracking, but possible. On HC...I guess no, cause you have less item slots by default (nofree pouches - only those which are locked behind puzzles)

Once you make it to the sewers you should have enough inventory space to pick up weapons that you might intentionally want to leave. Just use the elevator and valve to go back to rpd and pick up weapons you didn't need before.

The only real weapon you need before you reach the lab is the handgun and maybe the shotgun/grenade launcher.

Also you can play in assisted mode and use infinite handguns if you want to make it as easy as u can just for the achievement.

nope, magnum is a must to kill G-adults (10 bullets on east will be more than enough), also it`ll help with ivy at some point and Birkin G3 if you do Leon scenario

I never fight any of the G mutants ever. I have literally never killed one until I played the game to get the achievement of not being hit more than five times.

All you have to do is make them swing at you, and then run around them. Or let them grab you and use a grenade and then run around them. Two out of four of them can be completely avoided on the way to and from the queen and king pieces.

If you can use the cheat weapons which I imagine you can achievement hunters would find it more effecient to unlock the infinite MP5 or better guns probably. Then all you got to carry is key items, and heals. Unless you go for no heals too.

True. The pistols pretty easy to obtain. Anything other than the knife would work. it will just take longer as long as you keep your distance.

So i guess i have to do 2 runs. One for hardcore and another for the achievements (no healing and no item box). Yeah it seems super hard to get those achievements on hardcore. (Because of less inventory slots.)

The achievements probably get locked in assisted mode no? Because it would become so easy to get the achievements that way.

I don't think you can use the infinite ammo guns because you have to open the box at least once to get those out, correct?

You rarely need to be carrying more than 3 key items at once.

Carrying less weapons all around should give you enough space to carry key items.
(That's what I'm doing, and I'm having no problem getting buy with only SMS60(starting hand gun) and MQ11(sub))

Do Leon A on Assisted.

One less gun than Claire and less ammo types. No need to carry herbs/first aid spray because you get auto-healed from danger status. Skip the red key (morgue), it's optional. You can even skip the flamethrower because bosses go down fast on Assisted.
