Ok, I'm stuck
What exactly do I do after getting the two medallions? I know where the third statue is, but I can't seem to detonate the C4.

Need battery for Detonator,unless you dont have the detonator yet ?

Check your map. If a room is red it means there is still something there that you can pick up.

I have the battery but not the detonator. I suppose it's in one of the safe boxes but no idea how to open them without any clues. lol

In the S.T.A.R.S. Office.
The detonator is in the chained room at the Operation Room. The Operation Room is that one with the box where Leon can climb to meet the fat zombie banging at the vending machine.

Don’t worry, I spent 5 minutes thinking the game had glitched trying to use the detonator on the C4 before I realised it needed a battery...

yea you cant go wrong really in this resident evil mate, you just check that map and head to any area in red and you will obtain everything in due course
