Mouse and Keyboard slow walk?
Noticed that there is no way to walk more slowly like with controller, does the speed matter when sneaking past lickers or Tyrant? I like using this setup so I don't really want to swap to controller but I guess I will if this makes a difference.

As far as I know the game only differentiates between running and walking, so it makes no difference.

It does... Just don't press shift.. Or change the controls to need to hold shift instead of just pressing it once, otherwise u need to make Leon full stop walking before u can stop running.

(nevermind I read u question wrong.. I don't know if is there a difference between the controller but the distance u can get close to licker feels the same with both and never get noticed walking)

Ok if it's just between walk and run that's fine with me, @Andy I know not pressing shift is walk, it's just controller has pressure sensitive walk speeds, so I wondered if that took it into account.

You can aim and walk if you want to go slower.
RaikreN 28. jan. 2019 kl. 2:13
Yeah, you can only walk at the max speed on kb+m, whereas on controller if you tilt really slightly then the chars will walk without even any footstep noise. If this doesn't matter then I'm happy.

Yeah that's also an option, will keep it in mind when playing again.

I haven't had any issue walking past Lickers and Zombies that are looking away with kb+m. Aim walking/slow walking doesn't make it easier to "sneak" past lickers and zombies.

On PC, at least on Hardcore you can't sneak past Lickers, even when walking they always seem to detect me.

They still soft aggro you when you get close. That's when they hiss and start moving toward you. They look for you in this mode. If you run, shoot or touch them then they go full on and start attacking.
