1: You start outside in the courtyard
2: The main hall isn't safe and has zombies in it (as well as Marvin)
3: Mr. X comes at you much sooner (he'll pop up as soon as you go to the hallway where the S.T.A.R.S office is located).
4: The actual route is somewhat different due to starting off with the bolt cutters immediately.
5: Some of the early cutscenes are gone (like Leon trying to save Elliot or discovering the corpse in the hallway with the separated jaw).
Even the 2nd scenario is a lot of repetition of stuff you already did. There are some differences yes, but there is also so much that should already be done by the first character. Feels like you play in 2 parallel worlds that somehow overlap in the end...
I mean they both enter the city together at the same time, yet magically you end up in the exact same places and never really meet each other and whatever the other did already you have to do again.
Just like the extra challenge mode is exactly the same, just with different characters. Biggest issue with the game is the lack of diversification.
