Time keeps going on cutscenes?
I know pausing the game stops total time played, but does it stop while watching cutscenes?

No, cutscenes are not included in your time. It stops during them.

Not like it matters since you can skip cuteness to save time on later playthroughs.

I know it wouldn't matter in later playthroughs, but in case I DID want to rewatch a certain scene, I'd like to know.

Considering Bawkbasoup got 1hr 30 min playthroughs watching all cutscenes, I'd say time stops.

If that's the case, I'll go with your answer. I finished Leon A then watched a speed run to see what I can improve upon, path & item management wise. & in doing so I noticed the player would skip a cutscene as if his life depended on it, So I was just curious. Thanks.

If you're going for fasts runs aren't you just skipping the cutscenes anyway since you probably already watched them once, right?

Or is it more of a "Can I go take a pee break while this is going without worrying about the timer" thing? :P

Like I wrote above, It's just in case I'd want to rewatch one. I like to take screenshots, this game is too pretty not to. & the "pee break" idea isn't too bad either. It's what I did replaying the Metal Gear games way back when. :2017tp:

Gotcha, and yeah. Replaying MGS as you get older is actually a blessing in disguise.
Once we're super older and our bladders become old people bladders all these long cutscenes are gonna be the best thing about video games!

for me its more of an "can i please get a break from my Hardcore run T-T and watch the scene to catch my breath"

During gameplay, the clock only stops if you pause. Cutscenes, inventory, map and dumping stuff in the item box counts towards your time. If you die and continue, time doesn't reset if you pick up from your last save from the 'You're dead' screen. You have to go back to the main menu and load from there.
