Safe areas from Mr X (in main RPD building).

STARS office.
Clocktower.
Interrogation Room (if still locked, haven't tested it unlocked)
Deputy's office/hidden chamber in main hall (even though there's no door, he's been right on me but stops as soon as you down the steps)

Even if he sees you go into these areas he will not follow, hope that helps some peeps out, it's nice to have a breather every now and then.

Add more if you've found them.

Lounge, only tested the side that is locked initially, he can go through though if he clips into the door
That gives me an idea, hole' on a sec, gotta test something out ...

The Observation / Interrogation rooms are definitely safe. That was the first room I tried to hide from him inside and discovered he walks off if he can't reach / find you.

It's probably a safe room because you could hop the wall and just sit there laughing at him from the other side, though.

Yeah but I haven't checked Claires side of it yet as she gets the heart key to open the interrogation room. Though it's probably the same as I don't think she gets the club key for the observation room.

I forgot the Lab area on Leons side too, the save room that ajoins the observation area of the greenhouse, forget the actual name.

He can only go there if he enters through an open door, I just tested it out you can trap him in the lounge

He tried walking through the door but it wouldn't open, on both sides
I went 10 steps back till he lost interest and then I opened the door an see how he walks against the library door, same with the locked door

I even managed getting him into the shower room, lol

There are areas which he isn't supposed to go.
I also found out that you can't trap him there, he will teleport to another location, after I left the lounge and went to the shower-room he appeared somewhere on the stairs, really weird and buggy.
I could hear his footsteps right in front of me, but I didn't see him, till I moved away around the corner and bomm he suddenly goes down the stairs

I recorded it, but I have to find a way to upload that stuff, might edit it later

The door was initially locked, I opened from the other side, so both doors were open, but since it is a closed door from the start, he isn't supposed to go there, even if the door is unlocked

I tried to trap him there for ever, would have been awesome for speedruns etc.
But as I've said he teleports to a different location, but gonna test this stuff out in more detail, it is funny seeing him being so helpless

That's strange, he's definitely chased me through there before, that's when I hid in STARS room with shotgun trained on the door... I thought he might've entered as it wasn't a save room. Then heard him clomp and saw his shadow as he passed.

Did you see him go through the door? He could've spawned right after it
I tested the Stars, to see if I can trap him there, but died (shouldn't have tried it on Hardcore, lol)

He was right on my ass, I stopped in the lounge to pick up the map and he came through so I booked it through the other door... I wasn't looking back but pretty sure I heard him open the door behind me.

If you want to get him off your back for a few run into the library and climb the ladder. Then just stand at top of ladder when he comes in. He'll just stand around for a second then head back out the way he came. Kept him off me for a good while

Depends... if he sees you he will come up the ladder so I just go down the steps and out the door.

I had to do the book shelf moving in Leons 2nd run while he was chasing me, and I hadn't cleared the zombies out yet, just kept kiting him round but the zombies made life difficult camping at the bottom of the ladder.

At one point, I had 2 zombies at the bottom of the ladder and Mr X waiting at the top and just kept going up and down for a couple minutes. Eventually went down but he jumped as soon as I was off the ladder, but a zombie grabbed me too. lol

Do we know if shots attract him straight off the bat in 2nd Run?... I didn't want to take the chance after checking the laptop/camera, but he didn't show until I went to the STARS office. Is that the trigger in 2nd run?

if so I'm gonna try and clear as much enemies as possible before going to STARS in my next B run.
