I messed up Supplies Storage Room puzzle

I did not grab chess pieces in correct order and I'm wondering if there is a way to correct this without going back to most recent save (which is way back in the game)

There is no way to softlock yourself in that room. you're fine. there's something you haven't done properly.

it was a while since I did that room, but after you've gotten the flamethrower, put the king piece in the wall right infront of the stairs to leave the room. then go through the door and get the queen. come back, take king and leave

Remember there are 4 slots for keys, 2 for the king, 2 for queen, don't put them in the wrong slot or nothing happens.

You can't trap yourself. But be warned: If you ♥♥♥♥ up, you will lose your chance to get the flamethrower from there.
