how do you use the high powered rounds?

I've tried pressing rb, I've tride combining the bullets with the SLS60, I've tried equipping the sls60 and simply reloading. i still have these 3 high powered rounds I picked up and cannot seem to use them in any way. anyone know what the deal is?

The high powered rounds require one of the weapon modifications. I vaguely remember that one is located in the sewers somewhere. And at a guess you swap ammo the same way as with the grenade launcher.

oh, it needs an upgrade? damn, devs could probably have done with putting that in the description. you pick the highpowered rounds up before any upgrade as far as i can tell (because i don't have any upgrade for it yet) and the description just says they are for the sls. :/

The game already told you that.
Just examine the bullets...

it says they need a stronger frame, but I assumed that's why i couldn't use them in the regular handgun and needed to be used with the SLS. I assumed it was telling me teh SLS had the stronger frame and that's why the bullets could only be used in that.
