Annoying black bars
My resolution is 1680x1050, anyway to remove the black borders from the top and bottom on my screen?

borderless windowed mode did it for me.

The custom patch made my game crash so i found another work around, i lowered my resolution from 1680x1050 to 1600x900 and its full screen no black borders and it doesn't look stretched like it did with the patch, try it and tell me if it works out for you.

I've never heard of a resolution like yours either. What kind of monitor are you using?

It's your aspect ratio. 2560x1600P 16:10 and i have black bars.

21:9 3440 x 1440, 34 inch, gameplay = ok, cutscenes = black bars. How to get rid of?

Its a 8 year old one, i know its for an upgrade but i recently bought a new pc so its not possible at the moment, i only know its Asus and thats all.

like someone else mentioned its probably your aspect ratio which seems like an old one. You might just need a new monitor

How borderless windowed did it for you? If that was the case, then a patch that fixes the .exe of the game would not even exist. It does not work anymore, but it used to. Borderless or FullScreen on games without 16:10 aspect ratio will always present black bars.
