I can't hear the music

Anyone else? I literally can't hear in-game music. If I choose to play with the remake soundtrack, all locations are silent (I just hear ambience), even in the save room. I only can hear music if I choose to play with the original soundtrack, then I have music everywhere.

Don't get my wrong, I love the original soundtrack (that's why I bought the deluxe edition) but I would love to hear the reimagined ost too.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Tried veryfing the integrity of the game files. Still the same. I have no music at all, just ambience.

The new soundtrack just sucks and can't even be called 'music'. There is some but it's bare minimum

Are you sure you're not accidentally running surround sound on a stereo setup? I don't own the classic sound effects DLC, but if it's in stereo, that may be why you're able to hear it while not being able to hear the regular music. Alternatively, you can verify the integrity of the game files.

As of now I'm using my home theater 5.1 system and everything is fine. Last night however I was playing with my wireless headphones with the proper setting and it was the same. I'll try verifying the files. Thank you for your suggestion :)

But how minimum? I mean, I can't hear it anywhere... not in the main hall, not in the other rooms or even the save room. One thing is to have a minimum soundtrack and a completely different thing is what I'm experiencing.

I noticed that music plays in certain spots but then just stops and doesn't loop. The save room is a good example. You hear the save theme for a minute, until you open the item box or something, then it just goes silent. But then again, I tested it with the soundtrack swap and it doesn't do that. I think it may be a bug because I don't think they would do this on purpose.

Seems like im having the same issue.... I really don't hear anything... Im in the save room at the stairs now at the police departement. Can't hear anything...

ye, there are some motives in the save room and when mr.x is on pursuit, but in the other rooms and in main hall, for example, there's no music.

Here too. I heard music in the main hall when I first entered the PD, then the save theme near the stairs until I opened the film interface in the dark-room. It cut out then and I haven't heard a thing since.

Same thing happening here. People joked about us having to pay for music as DLC. But right now you actually do lol.
