Slow walk with keyboard?
How do you sneak by lickers on keyboard, people keep talking about "slow walk", is this a thing and if it is how do I do it?

Prob a controller only thing like State of Decay and other games. Maybe walking while aiming works?

Isn't the non sprint walk enough? It seems pretty slow already

its for sneaking around lickers

how do you do it? Also I have tried walking slow around lickers, they still know where I am. Referring to the first encounter and the one after the C4.

Same thing happening to me on this Licker, it might just be scripted to always find you when it first appears, because I found a Licker beforehand, and I could just walk and it wouldn't hear me, but not this one.

On "hardcore" you can't sneak past the lickers when playing with K/M.
Capcom should patch in the possibilty to "sneak" with K/M.

In the meanwhile I have to switch to the controller to get past the lickers.

Also had the same issue. Playing on hardcore on pc with kb/m and there is no slow walk option. Encountered the licker in the C4 room and tried to walk around him and he heard me. Wondering if he is scripted to. Also capcom needs to patch in a slow mechanic for kb/m users immediately. Using a controller because you encounter a licker is ridiculous.

analog stick's adjustable movement speed are almost always get omitted on Keyboard and they'll never patch it since there are bunch of idiots claiming they have no problem with it. if you play on hardcore, you can use cheat engine to bind slow walk to one of your unused keys like 'ctrl'. but it's a bit of hassle since you have to set up the cheat engine every time when you start the game.

I can't believe people still don't understand this. Just regular walk past them, they may snarl and start walking in your direction but they will do that regardless of how fast or slow you walk past them.

That doesn't mean they've been aggro'd, just continue walking past and you'll be fine. If they still attack at that point you either touched them on the way past or you're doing something else wrong.

Don't shoot, don't run and don't touch them. That's all.

Yes normal walking on k/m is the same as sneaking with a controller.

Some Licker spawns are scripted to go after you immediately even if you walk slowly or standing perfectly still.

That licker attacks you no matter what.

no it's not. you clearly haven't tried the controller pad. you can adjust the walking speed with analog stick.
