Resident evil 3 steam overlay

is it possible to get resident evil 3 to work with steam overlay ?

it's the pc version of the game.

Add non-steam game to steam.

Top left you'll see games, then click that, you'll see "Add non-steam game to my library" then find the emulator or exe that the game uses. Launch it through steam and you should be able to. If you have questions or its not working you can reply to me or add me. :)

that's what i have done but nope it dosen't work
