Apart from that, I gotta say that, like jungle.james, I really like the artistic interpretation in Abzu, especially since the small areas with low poly animals lets me run it at its most beautiful and let the devs put many creatures in each area, while Beyond Blue is more realistic, with bigger, more empty areas, and beautiful animals, which forced me to downgrade the graphic settings.
Both are relaxing experiences, but for myself, I've always been a fan of the underwater world, whether that is through documentaries, movies, books, sci-fi/horror, etc...
That said, Beyond Blue is not the same as abzu at all... sure, there is moving underwater, but in this one you pay more attention to how things function, the movement of fish, etc.. this is more of a scientific focus with scanning and gameplay elements.
Also, depending on the system you are running, Beyond Blue could be way more taxing because there are graphically more tech going on.
