why do my striker keep running into offsides?

i play formation 3-4-3 and my strikers always keep running around 2-3 meter in offside until the penalty area. so i don't have many options where to pass the ball as my strikers are in offside. this happens way too often when doing a counterattack.

We will have another look at this, but it's down to the player skill level, it's something you should see a lot less of as you progress through the leagues. You can move your offside strikers back on side while you keep control of the player with the ball. I find with counter attacking that if you react quickly as the attack starts, your strikers are still onside and that gives you more options.

Thanks for the answer, hope you can adjust the ai a little so they realize offside and sometimes slow down a bit. I'll send you a link to a video in a few days where you can see what i mean.

here too! My Strikers always run into offside. Don't have many options then. Playing 4-3-3.

I micro manage my forwards when they are in danger of going offsides.

The way I look at it, it is pretty easy for the defense to run an offside trap, and you have to be aware of where the line is. Sometimes, taking a player sideways, and being patient, works for the best.

NOT REALISTIC to expect your players to be never caught offsides. I like it the way it is, working as intended.
