Comparison to Evil Tonight

So this developer has a more recently release game called Evil Tonight with similar pixel graphics.

How does Viviette shape up in comparison to that new game? Is it worth playing before Evil Tonight or is ET a straight improvement on all fronts?

They have nothing in common. This one is a short walking simulator with rather meh plot.
Evil tonight is a decent top down resident evil game with a better story, characters and actual gameplay mechanics.
Its like outlast vs resident evil 8.
