The metro does take some practice to stop right at the marker, but one tip is that you can disobey the speed limits without penalty as long as you maintain the speed limit through the speed trap. Also it helps to go hard on the brakes on approach to the station as opposed to slowing down too early.
To get the next stop bonus you need to change the route panel setting to the corresponding stop name listed under the "Next stop" text before opening the doors and allowing passengers to enter.
So for Jacob's quest his "baby momma" left an item somewhere inside the Maple House apartments, although the location may be changed for the next update so that you don't have to rent the apartment to complete the quest.
When the NPC suggests they are interested in a particular item then you should be able to sell that item to them, but if you notice that doesn't work for a certain NPC it can be fixed if you leave a report.
My only other question is about making money. I'm struggling to make a significant income. I did manage to rent the cheapest apartments but having to buy drugs all the time for $15 a pop to keep my sanity up is quite a bit. If you have any suggestions for making money, I'd appreciate it.
I've tried selling items (like alcohol) to npcs but if I buy vodka, the npc will only buy one and then i have to go in and out of the store again to get her to buy another. I'm sure there is an easier way. I have done a couple quests and made some decent money doing that as well as the initial drug order; however, buying the components is expensive when you've only got $30 in your pocket!
I did go into the sewers once to look for the place to fix the water (from the working guy), but I ran head long into ....something....scared the crap out of me and I ran out!!
Suggestions:
1) Have you considered cigarettes giving a small amount of sanity?
2) I passed out once (from low energy) right inside my apartment. Not sure if that could ever be changed so you wake up in bed or something, but just a thought.
Keep working on this amazing game!
Just a suggestion!
The alcohol and cigarettes will add sanity in the new update and that's a good suggestion for the user to wake up in the bed if they pass out at home. At least the player could be resistant to passing out when they're home. The addiction feature has been mentioned before and will be noted for an update, it would add a good dynamic to the gameplay so that you're more responsible for maintaining your sanity.
1) If Cigs reduce stress (or if they will at some point), please indicate it in the description. There should be more associated with them and it would be super nice if your guy actually took a few puffs :) (ex-smoker here)
2) I'm sure your aware, but the food system is a little wonky. The more expensive food doesn't seem to do as well as the $3 frozen meal. Would be nice to have a few more options to put in the microwave (soup, etc.) but that's just fluff. (love the coffee!)
3) It would be nice to be working toward some form of "empire". Where you have multiple customers coming to you for many different things. Even if you're just running to a supplier to fill the order. Once you have more in place, I'd suggest lowering the benefit of the blackjack table since I turned $50 into $1000 there. Don't do that now though!
I love the game!
p.s. I actually liked the shoes where they were (baby mamma). I thought that was an awesome little touch. If you wanted to move them out of there, consider putting them outside of an apartment at the 1st apartment building but I think they are fine where they are.
