When can we expect to get our hands on this? So excited!

Wow!

Will there be some kind of matchmaking or open-to-all servers?
None of my friends play this:steamsad:

This is amazing. Reentry is the one sim that fulfills my dreams of realistic space flight including all procedures instead of just having you sit there and enjoy an automated experience.
Great work :)

Nicely done, and a very cool idea to implement a multiplayer feature for a game like this one.

whao this is so cool ! Can we expect to be able to play as mission control solo if we have no friends ?

Hi! I fully get your concern here and I think I should elaborate this in a dedicated post.

The short answer is that I have been working on this project for 6 years now, and "Mission Control Live" has actually existed in one form or another since the start of the project. It has been a development tool to monitor all kinds of data when programming the spacecrafts and performing tests. A year ago I did a similar stream showing a similar Mission Control Room, but for Apollo.

The major changes is that now more people can join the room, as development gets more complex, the new failures system is introduced, and the Test Pilots team increase. I'm not sure about the model, or the cost of this (since multiplayer require infrastructure-costs), or even when it will be released, but all of these efforts are made to improve the core of the simulator.

Hope this answers your concern, and I would be happy to discuss this further, and even let it be a basis for an FAQ.

Thanks!

Is multiplayer really that cost-intensive?
More precisely, is hosting as player, or setting up a dedicated server out of the question?

Interesting to see extra gameplay added into the game, I wouldn't use the multiplayer myself most likely but looks good. Although don't want to get too far away from the fact this is a space flight sim and lots to do to that part yet.

I have this app on my wishlist (followed also) and I regularly read the update notes. Still a little bit undecided on whether I should buy it or not. But me being a STEM advocate and proponent, I think I really should.

I definitely recommend it if you are a space nerd :D
The content you get is really good.
Learning Mercury is a nice introduction.
Learning Gemini requires quite a bit of time since it's already very complex.
But learning Apollo takes the cake. A huge challenge and extremely rewarding.

The learning curve is really steep and you get to learn a ton about those modules.

hi, sorry if this is a silly question but i cant seem to get v0.6, i have tried the usual things (changing destination folder and even re installed, cleared d/l cache). Am i being silly or is the update not out yet? Thanks
