Reentry on iOS

Hi there is a new graphics engine coming to iPads called metal 3. so can we get this sim on ipads with the ability to use highest graphics settings?. that would be awesome thanks .please let me know

It seems unlikely given the hardware required to play Reentry on PC. In theory the hardware might be able to play it at reduced quality with touch-controls. Unity, which Reentry uses, runs on iOS/iPadOS but I'm not sure all the plugins Reentry uses does. There are apps for streaming games from a PC to a mobile device though, that might be an option for you.

Yeah no worries. Do note though that I'm not a programmer on Reentry, Petri is, and such a decision would be up to him. He may have additions or corrections to my post.

Hi can someone please ask Petri if we can get this sim on iPad with highest settings at least on the M1 ipads?. The iPad needs a hard core space sim. and with the new graphics API thats releasing (metal 3) this fall should give enough power to run it thanks. 😊

Petri will respond when he is able, he does check the forum posts.

Although it’s unlikely that it will come to IOS simply due to performance limitations as Martin said. After all (to my knowledge) their aren’t any full pc ports of simulators similar to Reentry in graphical requirements on IOS anyways.

This game will not run in iPad, it requires performance and power, yes, but also a lot of keys and input to control the various things.
