Support for Tobii eye tracking
I plan on replacing my Alienware laptop in 2-3 months, it is around 9 years old now. I have been researching ideas and concepts for the new system. One is the Tobii eye tracking system. Reentry isn't listed on their website so I thought I would ask if anyone is using Tobii in Reentry.

I was not aware of Tobii, but will look into it. It seems there are some licensing involved, but the support for Unity is there it seems. Will need to research a bit on this.

There are several YouTube videos showing Tobii and what it does. Basically it follows you eye movements and allows you to concentrate on things even look around plus zoom in.

Hi, I've made to swap from TrackIR to Tobii. I've found occasionally I have found that that the Centre drifts when using TrackIR. Also the "background IR noise" I have doesn't effect Tobii at all.

I have a Tobii as well. For an immersive cockpit, it's amazing. Hope it works out that adding support for it is doable.

If Reentry supports a tracking device via OpenTrack, then the Tobii 5 should work, since there is an option for the Tobii. This is the way for example to make it work with IL-2 Sturmovik BOS, which does not support it directly.
