Linux Support
Will there be Linux support in the future or will it just stay natively on Windows?

A Linux version is on my wishlist, but I need to get the core product more complete to make it build it on Linux (and Mac). Unity is cross platform so most will work, but there are some edge cases that needs to be solved for it to work. Hopefully, post version 0.8 I will know more about this.

I was gonna try it out on Steam Play, but I don't know if it would even work well. I am glad to hear there are thoughts about doing a Linux/Mac version.

Works out of the box?

I haven't tried with default proton, been using Glorious Eggroll version for the cutscene support. It works perfectly.

Is this something that could have been written as a guide? "Play Reentry on Linux" or something like this? As mentioned, I wish to create a proper native Linux build, but this could be a solution while I work on that

Current version 0.64 works out of the box with Steamplay. Just tested it with the default version of Proton 5.0-9 and was able to complete a mission with no performance issues.

Ryzen 5 3600 - 16 gigs ddr4 - 5700 XT

I'd caution against the developer advertising that it's working with steamplay because if a future patch breaks that functionality some players might expect you to support their issues. Up to you if you want to take on that extra workload mid development.
