Lot of dog whistles in this discussion board

Really looking forward to game, partly just because it seems to be getting under some people's skin and I've noticed a decent amount of dog whistles trying to make this a race thing? Sorry but I'd rather work with an alien that shares my values than a human nationalist seeking genocide.

This is XCOM. The game series has been about uniting humanity for the greater good and now it is uniting humanity and alien races for a greater good as well. I loved playing with alien units in the multiplayer and having that be in a solo game is awesome. Anyway just my observations on a lot of threads I've seen
