Romance Option?
Asking for a friend. Can we flirt or romance our agents? It is probably unprofesional to do, but life is short and full of alliens.
The nazis already hate you so might as well pour some plasme into their wounds and go all out with snake love.

This is tongue in cheek question, but answear "yes" is desired. Great job on game premise and idea.

You need to have good and fleshed out characters for that. Seen that too often. Not done right it will do no good. It's just cringe. The trailer of this game the one where they talk shows me they are far from it to build any good characters. That's also a point why I think they went completly wrong with this game. You need to have skilled writers, character creaters good voice actors. It's just not done with any cheap approach. Programmers can't do that. It ends in trash.

and as we probably know based on the story in the other games, uhh, I wouldn't say that it's the devs' strongest side.

Yes, in fact, gameplay will be heavily focused on this. The devs decided to expand upon the bonding feature introduced in Xcom 2, so now, if you want your squad members to work together, you'll have to take out one of three hunky Muton bachelors and pick their favorite type of Advent Burger as part of the dating mini game.

Need i remind you that humanity is the physical definition of the bad idea and it doesn't matter how ugly an alien is there will be someone out there that will want to have sex with it.

If there was a romance mechanic, I'm willing to bet it would have been in the gameplay trailer. However if the story is more that just window dressing, maybe there will be something written into the story?

Also devil's advocate, Sectoids are partly human and I'm willing to bet so are former ADVENT, so that's not so bad....
