since the last update my 2K launcher can't load instead it shows a white screen. How can I fix it?

Hello friend, I have tested the new launcher of xcom 2, xcom chimera squad and it works normally. However I can give you some things you can try.

- First go to the following path to delete the config folder, don't worry that when you start the game again they will be recreated.

D: \ Documents \ my games \ XCOM Chimera Squad \ XComGame \ Config

- The next thing is to do a file verification through STEAM. After that, try to start the game.

- In case it does not work, you must delete the following folders:
2kLauncher and launcher

D: \ STEAM \ steamapps \ common \ XCOM-Chimera-Squad

Once that is done do a file verification using STEAM. The files will be downloaded again and then start the game, this should work now.

Yeah, the new launcher seems to be causing issues in both XCOM 2 and Chimera Squad. Mine launches, but I get VERY poor performance now in XCOM 2 (choppy graphics and unresponsive UI), and I've started seeing a LOT of game freezes in Chimera Squad (pretty much guaranteed to hit one within 2-3 hours of play). I'm not sure what they did with the new launcher, but I'm not a fan so far.

Hi friend @ I3lackX, maybe you need to reinstall the steam c ++ redistributible sdk. Once that is done, try to do the procedure that I indicate before.

If that does not work then we will have to enter the "regedit" of your operating system and delete all the instructions referring to xcom and the game launcher. After deleting what is necessary try to start the game again, that should repair any errors since the new instructions for the game and launcher are created.

Be careful when using this berry not to erase some wrong instruction. I recommend that you watch some tutorials on youtube about "Regedit".

And deactivate all the mods that you already know.

Another reliable alternative is to use the AML launcher, it is a launcher created by the xcom community works much better I use it hahahahaha, I'll give you the link:
