Also if memory serves you have to get the skill. At that promotion it is not optional. I suppose you mean either don't use the ability, or don't use Claymore at all. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with either.
Running back to me happened once to me (and it was spectacularly bad) in my first entire campaign.
Then again, MAYBE I shouldn't have surrounded the alien to whom I sent the sticky grenade to.
To be honest, I've often been amazed at the convoluted path the aliens take to run to their mate when they could just run toward me instead.
That said, I only had grenades on me for a few extremely rare circumstances by the mid-to-late game. Every single one of my agents were capable of contributing FAR more with an action point than the modest damage output and status effects afforded by a grenade of any sort.
Why is that a flaw? Considering that you now have to focus overwatch in a specific direction, it seems like a mistake on the player's part if it's unintentional.
Your suppose to be using it on enemy that close to another enemy lol.
i shall clarify, as I tend to use Claymore as my alpha striker and nuke everything shred armor with explosives on the first turn. It is annoying that it triggers breach Overwatch shots, I guess it isn't a flaw.
also related to Overwatch; fully Trained terminal can take multiple reaction shots while on Overwatch, when the Guardian appears it can trigger overwatch multiple times from her and if you got lucky and had the breach option, well it dies int he first room before any combat.
I'd imagine that they're yelling something along the lines of "get it off me, get it off me".
The bigger issue, is when they happen to run towards a civilian. That one has happened a few times lately.
I love Claymore for his damage, but sometimes, it can be an issue.
Grenades don't cost action points though.....?
