Missing D3DCOMPILER_47.dll file, does anyone know where I can directly download it?
Can't start the game, it says I'm missing the D3DCOMPILER_47.dll file. I've searched online and people say I can either download just the one file and place it in a specific bin, or I can download some random ass windows update that supposedly brings the file with it. I don't wanna do no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows updates man. Does ANYONE know where I can find a download link for that damned ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ file?

Jesus christ, it's ALWAYS 2K games with this endless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. XCOM 2 and this one are literally the ONLY games in my entire library that ever had these types of ridiculous problems. I should NOT be obligated to search for solutions online to try and be able to START a game I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paid for. Just straight-up disrespectful.

If lots of people complained about the same thing, then yes you can -- and should -- hold the developer's feet to the fire.

As it is, I have *never* seen someone with the same problem as yours.

That said, "D3DCOMPILER_47.dll" is part of Windows, not part of the game. It is invoked whenever a program requests Direct3D to compile some shaders.

The fact that it's missing from your computer is indicative of deeper problems in your system, especially since DirectX 11 is built-in to Windows since Windows 7.
