Do bikes still matter?
I've been on a suzuki but havn't got to try others cause $150k per bike. I get blown by out of corners into straights by some people (usually kawi it seems) and I'm not sure if its the bike or the training bs which I havn't touched much of. Happens when im on short/med/long gearing so I dont really know what it is. I used to roll the Yamaha in MES because the bikes had different tuning.

In my experience yes bikes matter but the tuning can make up the difference. I find the Honda's to be great on the flowing tracks with a short ratio. The KTM goes like a scalded cat, but its a bit unwieldy at times on the precision tracks because of it. The Yamaha seems to have the best suspension and traction as its extremely easy to ride fast on it particularly out of slow sections.

The Suzuki I am not to sure on, but its a good bike. Seems to be a bit of a "middle road" type able to do well with good rhythm.

*EDIT* Defo need the training bonuses though, as they improve brakes and corner speed.

They definitely matter, I worked on grinding money to buy a kawi and upgrading after I posted. the bikes have different stats compared to one another when maxed. I'm also able to jump further on the kawi which I would just relate to raw speed and acceleration.
Which is why I ran the yamaha in MES cause it had the most power but you had to know how to handle it.
To complete the training you need to keep doing them in career mode? Seems time consuming if you are stuck on one.

Yeah the bikes all have various stats but its hard to get a proper comparison due to how the UI is set out. What I can tell is from the bikes I have (Hon/Suz/KTM/Yam) the KTM is the outright fastest on the UI for 250. Still working on 450 bikes atm.

Oh and quick tip the Scalvini exhausts are the cheapest and most powerful. That saves you 25k credits.
