it is VERY awful.
Really shocked the reviews in steam are positive.
As for stability, yeah I've experience a few CTD, not good. I hope they can patch those out.
Games aren't made for gamer's, they are made to get you addicted so you spend more money.
They chop out parts of a game because it took them a good amount of time to create and code it.
So to save money, while taking purchasers money, they create a half-***ed game and sell it for the usual price.
So far this one just feels like I am watching the game do the work...other than gathering parts there is really nothing to do. I am hoping I am still in the tutorial and it gets better...but sounds like it may not.
Speaking as an adult, that's a copout. All of the lego games are primarily for kids. But all of them up to now have been enjoyable for adults looking for a fun and funny game. I was disappointed by the first lego movie game as all the humour was taken from the movie. This seems far worse, on top of a lazy port (no keyboard reconfiguration, reallly?). If I'm looking for lego gta, that's what undercover is for, still way more entertaining than lego movie game.
I feel it was rushed and they decided to take old features and Frankenstein them into world skipping so they didn't have to deal with level design.
Don't like the format, graphics, or game play. The story line is irrelevant for me. I enjoy playing all my other Lego games (I have them all), except Lego Worlds (my previous least fave) and now this one, and have not always watched/read any other corresponding media.
I just personally don't like this style game and am hoping that this is not going to be how all future Lego games are.
I'll stick it out and finish it - but... it's very different from all the other games which I love completely. It's simply not... what I was hoping or expecting. I hope this isn't the case with a couple of the others I'm yet to play.
Being 5GB was kind of an indicator, but I should have seen through that.
