Like a lot of people I press play and nothing happens. Tried literally everything that worked for some of the players.
Ah. After restarting my computer after Steam itself crashed, I'm now able to play.
- I've had most success getting through cutscenes playing in full-screen mode and not alt-tabbing. This game does NOT like being alt-tabbed and will crash often.
- Borderless Windowed seems to be the most buggy of the three options, so I suggest either using Windowed or Full-screen Mode depending on your computer's power.
- I've heard others have had success booting up the game first before plugging in their controller / other USB accessories. Not sure why.
- If all else fails, you can try launching the executable as admin.
Hopefully one of these solutions can get you through the cutscenes until a permanent fix is implemented. Cheers.
Thus far, it seems that this patch has fixed all of those issues, at least for me. To summarise, I'm using the Borderless Windowed option, and things seem to be working fine. No crashes, but I haven't tried alt-tabbing during a cutscene and don't expect I'll do that anyway.
In my case, I updated my Graphics Card driver and restarted my PC, and that seemed to do the trick.
That is the problem ... I would like to play this game, but i CAN'T !!
It simply doesn't launch, please fix it !
