When do more weapons unlock?

I'm in the middle of chapter 9. At the moment I can only forge one weapon per character and those were available from like chapter 4. From what I've heard there are like 5-6 for each character. Did I miss something or do they just unlock later? Thanks.

You will get more after you've finished chapter 9 and the last weapon is a drop from the last boss in the highest difficulty, which you unlock after finishing the epilogue.
