I'm having trouble getting S++ on this one. I can consistently complete all three side goals with a level 40+ team and barely get enough points for S+. Is there some sort of strategy or tick I should be using?

The easiest way to get S++ on lower level quests (anything below proud) is to just keep leveling and then just complete them super fast while ignoring optional objectives..

In case you're still struggling with this (or if anyone else struggling sees this thread), I controlled Rackam, and aside from Gran put Eugen and Rosetta in my party, since both characters have decent range and Rosetta is good for crowd control.

The main thing that can hurt the points you get is the HP left on the target. The side objective only requires 65% to get credit for it, but if you want S++ it needs to be as close to full hp as you can help it. In my successful S++ run it had 92% hp left and we had enough points for an S before any of the side objective bonuses were applied. You can probably get away with it being lower but shoot for at least 90% hp remaining on the objective.

Year old topic but I'm having issues on this one, I cannot for the LIFE of me get S+ and thus get Refinium even though I've gotten all three Side Objectives along with x9/x10 Overkill as well. I can clear about six/seven waves till they start coming constantly in the last minute or so. It's driving me mad.

Skip it. You'll get bunch of refinium as you progress majn quest. Then you can get back to this quest severely overpowered if you feel like getting journal entry for 100 quests at S++
