Yeah. I would love to see that.
Same suggestion applied from my main post? Give each of the main needed components for each boss defeated? Ramping per boss completed.
Scale bosses to average of parties gearscore.
But i avoided this entirely by really maining one character. getting there weapon. unlocking a new character. and farming to gaurantee there weapon next.
im not saying we should have to do that, cause it makes you hesitate to try another character before endgame. but. it does have its advantages.
Would have rather farmed bahamut versa/id combo as final fight tho. proto is boring
Its always the same in games like these drop rates are low ppl cry and the devs change it.... which is in the end a kick in the balls for ppl like me who did the grind
It's not "lazy" it causes burnout. As a developer you don't want your consumers to burnout on your game. Instead of forcing players to do the same fight over and over, it could have been spanned over ALL Proud mode encounters. AND players would be getting other reagents necessary for sigil/weapon leveling.
"I suffered through the rng, so everyone else should suffer, too, because everything else is unfair to ME! :V"
Cool story bro... Drop chances will get changed at some point in time, no matter how much or little people whine about them. This has everything to do with letting new players catch up faster and nothing with pandering. Also, when too many people burn out on grindy content, you'll be stuck with insane machtmaking times or the three AI stooges before long
I hope they will change grinding soon enough. Such a waste of time.
After 30 years of gaming. Japanese games and eventually all east asian made games will follow the grinding trend of the Japanese gaming industrial standards. ISO GRIND2UD1E.
Don't believe me? Play some Korean and Chinese made games.
Oh, I'm not saying there won't be any grind at all in the game, just the old content will become less grindy over time, while the current endgame will force people to spend ages farming stuff. Rinse and repeat
Never happened. Not now probably not in the future. Every game I play, Wo Long, Nioh, Elden RIng. Yes. Grind baby grind!!!
Oh this is a mistake in western market. Even if they have fans for such kind of games. I bet plenty of people are cheating things out or not even bother with this game.
There is many many other games to play and grinding the same one boss for 100th time is not fun. Also I value my own time.
I would spend 150-250 hours in this game if I could level up all characters to max in this time. But right now I couldnt even finish 1 and I am bored. Casually log in to do 1-5 matches a day.
because as others said, proto bahamut is the most boring and easiest we have ever seen in the whole game and this is a "proud" quest
