The demo for this game is GREAT!
I have a PS4, so I'm able to try the demo and so far, I'm loving what I'm playing. Some of the controls are a little wonky where they're placed, but this game feels very reminiscent of Tales of Symphonia, in how it plays.

I'm enjoying my time with it thus far and very entertained thus far. After watching some game play of the game on Youtube, I thought that the overlapping voices were gonna be a trainwreck on my ears, but honestly, I'm really enjoying it. I think it's really well done.

What's really cool about this game is that I feel like I know these characters even though I'm just meeting them for the first time. The synergy between them all is GREAT and I love that they feel familiar.

The artwork is FANTASTIC and the game itself looks SO much better than I thought it would.

The game has something like witch time if you fill up your gauge, which is cool.

There's lot of hack and slashing as well as shielding and dodging.

Every time there I pulled off a link burst, I had a big smile on my face out of the pure joy of the spectacle. REALLY reminicent of Tales of Symphonia's link attacks.

The english voice acting is quite delightful and the combat though primitive within this demo, is still satisfying with all the dodging and shielding needed between hits. CORRECTION! The combat is only primitive if you have low arts. As you build up your arts, you get more combos with your attack. VERY COOL!

I do believe that the combat will get more complex as you open up new abilities, just like Tales of Symphonia.

I will definitely be heeding the call and buying this game day 1. That boss goblin fight was WICKED cool and I'm going back in! To be fair, I've been excited for this game's release for like 3 years ever since I saw it advertised. A lot of my worries are now completely gone and all that's left is just excitement.

What a great demo!

I only played as Gran thus far, but even with just that one play through, I had a lot of fun.

I usually play games whit overlapping voices in Japanese whit subtitles.
Seams less obnoxious that way. And i have limited understanding of japanese so i ca usually tell what they are saying dung special moves.

Is there an option to play with Japanese voices? I'm used to that being how the characters sound having played the gacha.
