so few waifu chara from gbf wiki made it to relink?

i can count the waifus in relink with 1 hand
the rest are lolis and dudes
i was new to gbf, relink is my first game
but then when i search to see if there're some good characters
GBF wiki bombarded me with so many cool characters(waifus)

Fediel
Galleon
Jeanne d'Arc
Tanya
Beatrix
Makura
Nier
Silva
Tweyen
Yuisis
Just to name a few
I get its a rpg thing to have as many different characters as possible
but, am a simple man, i like cool/unique female characters
I know some of those characters are in GBVS, so they do have 3D models and rigged
so its not impossible to have them in relink

That's what I mean though. I speak for myself when I say this, but I personally appreciate the male roster more than the female. I still play the female characters, sure. But I'd rather play Siegfried, Vane, Vaseraga, Percival, etc.

People like me are obviously in the minority when it comes to anime games, but there is a small audience and sometimes we get thought of.

And before someone says something, I'm not complaining. I generally don't care if most of the games are waifu sims. I still play the games if I like them. It's just nice to have decent male characters sometimes. I'm aware what space I'm in and who the target audience is.

Then you are issue here, not devs. If you dont like playing with male characters just move to different games. There are million other games with Anime girls with big boobs out there, i am glad this is not one of these because most of female characters in Relink are designed nicely (yea even Narmaya).

Don't worry, you can only choose one or two waifus to grind for terminus weapons anyway. Unless you want to spend a couple hundred hours to get more waifus. Thus, Narmaya floods the game.

I mean, the developers of Relink (in an interview) specifically said that their boss (a Cygames Executive) wanted the game to be sold to a wider audience.

So they censored the original character designs, and excluded characters like Metera (who was in earlier builds of Relink) because they were far too "sexualized" for a western audience of men who want women to be covered with multiple layers of clothing.

I need my Galleon, but yeah GBF likes to shine praise on males too. Which as much as i love waifus, the husbandos never really get any limelight in most gacha-originated franchises. I'm honestly really happy that we get male characters, even if the ones in Relink aren't really my type of husbando!

What you said is not even remotely related to this topic but either way, I'll take Song over Metera any day when she's already in Versus. Her getting cut for Song is a huge win.

I just prefer how armor look on male characters. Even same armor look much better on male characters because they have bigger bodies. Plus VA is always far far superior for male characters

Yeah. The dev should add more female characters since the franchise already has a lot of good one. Willing to spend on them than 70$ trash game with ugly AF female characters.
