4 x Damage Cap
3 x Sup Damage
1 x Warelementa
1 x Character Sigil
3 x Damage Sigils (Tyranny, Stamina, Critical Damage or my favorite Life on the Line)
That is it, literally every build in the game
Homie we ain't playing the same game.
Let's pretend you're a standard player. You can remove the 3 supplementary damage for two tyranny and an aegis. This will help keep you around 40k HP. One slot should also be dedicated to Crit Rate/Stamina or Crit Rate/survivability.
If you're farming Lucilius you can remove two damage cap for his sigils. Gamma, Beta, and Alpha. I strongly insist that you get Gamma instead since all three can only be activated after an SBA.
Alpha- Share 3% meter gain to everyone. Not much of a dent.
Beta- Off of memory I think it was 10% skill cool down. Only after SBA like usual, so it's good after you use all your skills once and they're back to their regular cool down.
Gamma- 50k shield to absorb damage. Bang for your buck and best choice ever. Grab Gamma! The others are a bonus if you want them.
You realise mods unlock all of those from the jump right?
- Tyranny
- Stamina
- Dmg boost (concentrated fire, combo booster) depends on the character
- crit rate, crit damage
- potion hoarder (a must in proud diff)
- improve dodge (not necessary but very convinient)
- nimble onslaught
- nimble defense
If using maxed upgrade Terminus, Stamina Sigil alone (assuming landing critical hit & under 45k health) mostly enough to reach 500% damage cap.
You can play around with 3x Damage Cap V, but required to have Sigil Booster (Ascension or Terminus weapon) and Wrightstone with at least Damage Cap lv5 or more. You will lose around 30% damage cap, but that's out of 500+% cap for extra sigil slot.
dmg skill cap crit
You can definitely vary your build from the typical 90% character build everyone shares. As long as you're pulling your weight during SBA chain, SBA stunning, link time, and mild events during the battle, most folks won't care about your build. The typical don't die a lot that forces a game over for the whole crew, people will notice when you're dead weight.
Characters clearly have their roles but end game kind of forces them into a DPS role. You can ignore it and enjoy the smaller things in life. No need to sweat the game.
They exist in midgame arguably. I.E. while you are actively progressing through lower difficulties you might choose to build an npc teammate tank to curb npc's dying and buffing still works because damage is below dmg cap. Endgame maxed out it becomes pointless because at that level everyone is at the cap but thats not where avg player spends most of their playtime.
I think the guides on meta builds also miss the point - you dont need a guide for the final state where you are done with the game. The more interesting question is how to build while you are in midgame and dont have optimal gear.
Good secondary stats for any character are:
- 1x or 3x Quick Cooldown (scaling for 2x is not worth, unless you have nothing better)
- 1x Cascade
- 1x Guts
- 1x Autorevive
- 3x Uplift
- 1x Dodge or Guard reduce CD (for more advanced play or AI)
Filler secondary stats that might help main character:
- 1x More potions
- 1x Drain
- 1x Aegis
