Ferry Sucks Now

The only thing that she had before was her fast SBA charge time. Now?

1. She does less damage than half the characters in the game.
2. Her support skills are nothing special.
3. She has no gap closer.

My AI Cag with a tier 8 terminus weapons is getting twice the honor points as Ferry, who is fully geared out.

The funny thing is that nothing has actually changed about her optimal playstyle. Spamming jump attacks is still her best damage, you just don't have crazy SBA generation anymore. It's not like nerfing her jump attack is going to make Onslaught suddenly not suck.

Also, honor is a really really bad metric for DPS, it values support too highly even if that support is entirely ineffective.

Use parser to determine DPS not honor points. Phantasmagoria does exactly this like any other buff or blue potion, inflate your honor points.

I see it too. She's my most geared character, so now I'm just switching. I don't know what it is, but something is really off with her now. Not just the jump thing, all of it feels weak now.

nothing changes, if have to say, lower the SBA rate is helping people from making trouble to others in co-op.
even if you get 100% you still need to wait the other 3 players or AI to prepare their SBA, and ferry has no SBA share ability.
besides single SBA in this game is useless, further more some times it brings troubles.
so, you have to wait and hold your SBA for long time, there is no difference.
if you use your SBA at a wrong timing, it makes boss do something irregular and that may make a worse tempo or make battle much harder.

Honor is not representation of DPS, they calculate based on the category which was achieved in battle. See honor for a character that cannot quick cast on AI. I am very sure Zeta out DPS Io for Pyet-A because I have no sigil slots left to equip supplement dmg sigils for Io

SBA locks the boss in animation so the rest of the party can do damage while the boss just sits there.

Think of SBA as a long stunlock. Ferry's only advantage over other characters was her SBA generation. Now that's gone, she sucks now because she's not good anything.

When someone use a SBA, every other party member gain like 10% SBA. So by soloing a SBA, you fuel your party SBA and CC the boss making it easier for the party to DPS and build their own SBA.

Ferry used to be able to solo a SBA then by the time the party get theirs to 100%, Ferry SBA will be up to link with the rest. That was Ferry niche for party play due to her kit lacking in other department.

It was very unhealthy playstyle as all you do is spam jump attack. Sadly even without the SBA gain, if a Ferry player still wants to do as much DPS she can push out; she would still have to spam jump attack as that is her best DPS combo.

Jump attack does more damage then having taking the time to resummon your pets, do the channeling whip attack and even doing the Onslaught attack. One single attack does more then a whole character kit.

unfortunately that is wrong.
single SBA will not give enough time for dealing damage and if the timing is wrong boss will do irregular act which based on the motion you interrupted or depend on HP line.
for any battle 4 SBA with CB or best 4 SBA without CB will give very long time for dealing damage to cross the HP line, and that will make help for skip some mechanis or some phase.
single SBA will do few damage and waist the chance.
if you use SBA to interrupted wrong act, it will extend the time for move to normal phase you have to face.

if you interrupted wrong things, battles are getting worse, for example
1. if the break time is not over, you beat boss up by using SBA to giving your teammates 10%? no they can do more damage and get more SBA points if you do SBA after boss wake up.
and if you don't wait next one to prepare 90% SBA, you waist chance to do CB
2. if the link attack is already 100%, you use SBA before link time, that will cause link time shorter and do less damage.
3. if you use SBA to cross any HP line, it will not skip anything.
but it will do if you can let others continue their SBA after you, it may cross the next hp line and make things faster by the combination of Break, Link time and CBs.
4. after SBA you have a CT to start to gain SBA points, the single SBA will always break CB of SBA.
so, as the first one to throw SBA, have to hold it until next one already prepared 90%, otherwise it just slow down every one's move.

I'm not sure if you understand, Ferry used to be able to solo SBA and by the time the team is at 100% SBA, hers is also at 100%. So there is no point for her to wait on her SBA when she reach 100% while the rest of the team is at 30%.

Ferry during her jump attack meta, Ferry is the exception to what you are saying.

Every time Ferry does her SBA, all her teammates gets +10 to their SBA charge, allowing them to reach SBA earlier.

And as someone else mentioned, Ferry charged her SBA so fast that she can do a single SBA and be able to SBA a second time when the rest of the team SBA's too.

But that's no longer possible. So Ferry sucks now. I've switched to Cag.

If you can read the description, it states a pair of alpha on 2 of them. Basically you will need to already farmed your worth for main then upgrade it to be able to pull it off.

I don't know how people can defend this, Ferry single ult never was useless as we Ferry players know exactly when to use our ults or not, take the automagod for example, Ferry ulting before the onslaught and chaining a slow afterwards skipped the whole useless animation, don't say to me now that YOU NEVER NOTICED???

Look I understand that with the +30% new AC sigil she would be too strong, but our point is that while they removed her AC gain she don't got nothing in return, liking or not the ulting was part of our DMG and now it's gone.

Why not turn that useless skill that throw a pet and inflict DEF down + remove buff to a freezing CC? Remove only one buff is useless and the decend bosses have a protection from debuffing, besides removing only one buff is useless anyways, as we can take out ATK up and not DEF up.
Her pets are spirits and souls + freezing fits the theme very well.
