When I tried with my AI, I found it difficult to learn any of the phases and what to do - I spent half the fight at 1 HP because he hit me multiple times with a huge AOE that seemed undodgeable and lowered my max HP... Any advice on how to dodge that?
The intermission has three phases. You need to eliminate as many adds as possible. The more adds are alive when Lucilius' cast finishes, the more your maximum HP will be reduced for the remainder of the fight.
First phase: party members need to run over circles of the same color (ie green) within a few seconds of each other to dispel them.
Second phase: slash one of the four orbs in the middle to cause it to split into feathers across the platform. Everyone needs to spread out and kill the feathers. After that, rinse repeat until all four orbs are dead.
Third phase: destroy his three weapons.
If you manage to kill all the adds before the cast bars go off, your maximum health will not be reduced.
AI I recommend Io and (Ferry/ Rosetta/ Charlotta) those 3 I am still testing. I tried the rest already, not going to use, I main Eugen.
Then there's the people bragging about getting carried by the AI's ultra instinct ability to dodge. I really just can't with some of you people.
And with the enormous amount of people failing this compared to Pyet-A or Proto, I'd say Cygames did a fantastic job with this fight and look forward to what else they'll be adding in the future after April when the new difficulty gets added.
This comes back to an issue mentioned earlier - there are some characters that require commitment to their attacks. While they commit, they easily get comboed by the boss... And if they don't, their DPS plummets and they are not useful to the team...
