Anyone stuck in installing?

I noticed my 205 GB free space was reduced to 143 GB but I cannot figure out what is it doing with that. the installing is stuck at 0%.

Go to your downloads (Library > Downloads) it said I didn't have enough free space even though I have 40 GB free and its a 1.1 GB download. Most likely its trying to reverify the full space of the game again? A bit silly....

That is how steam patching works. The game's largest chunk is 64GB which means you would need 2x64GB + patch size for patching the game,

Not all games seem to do this, so I wouldn't say "Steam patching" as much as "certain steam patching". I had 40GB free and I did the update for BG3 but I couldn't do it for Granblue without freeing space.

Download went well, installing was slow but worked. But boy, I've waited half an hour for the data to be replaced and nothing worked. Quitted the download but steam went full ballistic and kept going downloading while my library said the download was stopped. Closing steam resulted in multiple instances of steam the task manager had to terminate and after opening steam again it said "missing content of data". Decided to uninstall this whole mess and reinstalling it again which not only went without problems but much faster. Whenever you see a game bigger than 60gb replacing your data, safe yourself the time and always re-install.

Can confirm, waited >15 minutes, suddenly jumped to 97%. Jank but true
