Where is the bulk of Multiplayer content?

I picked this game up primarily to play with friends, but I haven't really been able to do much of that. There's a lot of single player content to blitz through.

When I booted up the game the first day, I was able to push through a chapter in about 15-20 minutes up to chapter 5. I figured, that wasn't too bad, just rushing through it, got it out of the way pretty quickly. But chapter 6 and up have all been much longer overall thus far, which is actually not such a bad thing if that's the kind of content you're in it for. If I could play through the story with friends, I'm sure it'd be a much more interesting experience to me.

But because of the way the story is designed, because I can't play with my friends, it feels like a lot of time investment to get to the part of the game that I actually want to play. I mean that's the assumption anyway, I'm assuming clearing the solo content unlocks the bulk of the multiplayer content.

Is post-story where the game's multiplayer really opens up? Or am I missing something?

You got 10 hours of campaign + Post campaign content to wrap things up and THEN it's all multiplayer. The grind really hits once you are done with the main quest. So yeah you are kinda on your own until then.

Yea post game is where its at. 10 hours campaign with rushing sounds about right.
Most of chapter 0 can already be played in multiplayer considering 90% of it is just doing questboard stuff and then you got short single player story segments in between.
