Personally I have a Narmaya brain. Naryama for days.
The duality of man.
Jokes aside, basically the entire roster does get away with a lot of goofy OP stuff once you've got sigils/gear and you know what to do. Even Ghandagoza and Siegfried, despite people complaining they don't do enough damage or whatever, they have some pretty high stun attacks to open up for Link. Just experiment with what suits your fancy most and go from there.
If you want someone who's easier to play try Rackham or Lancelot. They just mash the X button and use their skills. Charlotta's a good starter character too, though her parry mechanic makes her a bit harder to play well.
And if you unlock someone and decide you don't like their playstyle just hand them over to the AI and pick someone else. You'll be able to unlock everyone in the end anyway. The order you do it in really doesn't matter.
Charlotta is most OP for very hard missions / solo challenge every bosses
(Bruiser DPS (Power Finish/Parry/Counter/Invincible enabler need high skill play)
Very tanky, debuff immunity, short cooldown, sicc roundhouse kick that easily breaks dragon's horn and well rounded attack speed.
